Meta Muse Video API Launch: Pricing and Setup

Meta’s Muse video generation is now available on LaoZhang API. Any standard token group can call it, a 5–10 second clip costs $0.30, and you can also generate one continuous 20- or 30-second clip.

The price is per video, whatever the aspect ratio and whether you send images.
Failed tasks are refunded in full, and requests rejected at submission are not charged.

Who is affected

Anyone who wants Muse video: existing tokens in the default, vip, and svip groups work as they are. You do not need a Meta account or a new group.
Tokens set to Usage-based only: cannot call these models. Switch the billing mode to Usage first or Per-call.
Other video models: MiniMax H3, Wan, and Seedance keep their prices and request formats.

The response contains the task id.

Poll and download

Poll GET /v1/videos/{id} every 15 seconds. When status is completed, download the MP4 from video_url. Video links stay available for 7 days.

FAQ

How long does a clip take?

Clips up to 10 seconds usually finish in 2–3 minutes and can take more than 5 at busy times; 20- and 30-second clips take longer. The API is asynchronous, so submitting and polling return immediately and need no longer HTTP timeout. Keep polling for up to 30 minutes and do not resubmit while the task runs, or you will be charged again. A task still unfinished after 40 minutes is marked failed and refunded.

Can I get 1080p?

No. Output is 1280×720 in landscape and 720×1280 in portrait, at 24 fps.

How do I choose between video models?

Choose Muse for a fixed price per video, a continuous 20- or 30-second clip, or continuing an existing video. Choose MiniMax H3 for 2K, reference video, or reference audio, and Seedance for 1080p or footage of real people. The guide’s model comparison has the details.
