ByteDance’s English API docs are published on BytePlus ModelArk; the CNY price list is on Volcano Engine Ark.
Text models from these vendors, such as Grok, Qwen, DeepSeek, and GLM, use the OpenAI protocol.
glm-5.2, deepseek-v4-pro, and deepseek-v4-flash also accept the Anthropic Messages format through the Claude protocol, and Claude models accept both formats. For Moonshot, MiniMax, and other vendors, find model IDs and prices in the model catalog.

Using vendor documentation with LaoZhang API
- Endpoint and key: base URLs, key setup, prices, and rate limits in vendor docs do not apply to LaoZhang API. Send requests to
https://api.laozhang.ai, orhttps://api.laozhang.ai/v1for the OpenAI SDK, with your LaoZhang API key. - Model IDs: use the IDs in the model catalog. Some, such as
gpt-image-2.5-flare-vipandgpt-image-2.5-web, are LaoZhang API route IDs that vendor docs do not list. - Parameters: start with the minimal request in the matching LaoZhang API guide, then add parameters from the vendor docs one at a time. If a parameter is rejected, adjust it based on the error body.
- Retirements: vendor deprecation pages give upstream shutdown dates, and LaoZhang API may stop a model on a different date. For example, Google’s pricing page warned of an October 2, 2026 shutdown for
gemini-2.5-flash-image, its deprecations page later listed March 15, 2027, and LaoZhang API still served it as of October 5. Changes to LaoZhang API routes are posted in announcements. - Availability: whether a model from vendor docs can be called through LaoZhang API is shown in the catalog and the console.
